Adamant Entertainment Merges With Empty Room Studios

April 27th, 2011

Adamant Entertainment, a market-leading digital media company based in Lawrence, Kansas, offering innovation and standard-setting performance in the electronic delivery of entertainment products, and Empty Room Studios, a leading art service provider and original IP studio located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, have formed a partnership, merging their operations.

Empty Room Studios catalog of products, from tabletop RPG publications to stock art collections are now available under the Adamant Entertainment brand, and the company will continue to offer client services including illustration, design and layout, cartography, conceptual design, and sequential art. All business and financial operations will be consolidated under the auspices of Adamant Entertainment, with Rick Hershey of Empty Room Studios coming on board as Adamant Entertainment’s Art Director.

“I’ve worked with Gareth in the past, and after I became Art Director for FAR WEST, it was a natural progression for us to secure a partnership in other areas,” says Hershey. “Gareth and I think a lot alike, and with Adamant’s superb design and writing and Empty Room Studios quality art and production, the level of our upcoming projects are going to make a lot of people really take notice.”

“I’m thrilled to have Rick aboard as Art Director — and the addition of having Empty Room Studios’ great line of products coming along with him? That was the icing on the cake,” added Skarka. “We can’t wait to unveil the stunning work that he’s been doing for our forthcoming transmedia property FAR WEST, and are excited to bring that level of excellence to the graphic presentation to future Adamant projects as well.”

The existing Empty Room Studios products, now available as Adamant releases through and, will be spotlighted in the coming weeks to introduce them to Adamant customers who might not otherwise be familiar with them. Clients interested in studio services can contact Rick Hershey via Adamant Entertainment’s website contact page, or via the Empty Room Studios site as well.
